drink too much alcohol, gonna get real drunk, act real dumb and have a hangover the next day. keep drinking too much for a long period of time, gonna end up with liver cirrhosis. so, as with all things, it's up to responsible adults to *gasp* take care of themselves. and those that can't, well they'll suffer the consequences.
we need to stop trying to shelter and protect everyone from themselves. yes, some things are really, really bad and immediately impact your health (e.g. hardcore drugs) so they shouldn't be out there for everyone. but unless something is that harmful, i see no need to block it off for everyone. yes, keep it out of reach of children until they're of approriate age that they can maturely handle it, but there's no need to stop consenting adults.
